Why I Practice Open Science
Open science has become an integral part of my research practice. In this post, I share why I believe in making research more transparent, accessible, and reproducible.
Preregistration
Before collecting data, I preregister my hypotheses, methods, and analysis plans on platforms like OSF or AsPredicted. This helps distinguish confirmatory from exploratory analyses.
Open Data and Code
Whenever possible, I share my data and analysis code publicly. This allows others to verify my findings and build upon my work.
Open Access Publishing
I prioritize publishing in open access journals or posting preprints to ensure my research is accessible to everyone, not just those with institutional subscriptions.
